Funding

The UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program helps campuses cultivate the careers of outstanding Ph.D. recipients by providing funding for fellowships, professional development and faculty mentoring. Scholars from any field—and regardless of race or gender—may qualify for the PPFP program, so long as their research, teaching and public service contributes to diversity and equal opportunity at the University of California.

The UC Santa Cruz Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Program is tied to the UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. Applicants to the President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program who do not receive awards are eligible for the UCSC Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Program.

The Graduate Division Outstanding Postdoctoral Scholar Award annually recognizes two outstanding postdocs with $1500 each.
