Register with NPA

UC Santa Cruz is a sustaining and an institutional member of the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA), which works to improve the postdoctoral experience by supporting enhanced research training and a culture of enhanced professional growth, advocates for postdoctorate policies that benefit researchers and scholars, develops resources for postdoctorates, and holds a conference and maintains other community-building pursuits.

NPA resources and benefits are available to all members of the UCSC community, including faculty, administrators, postdocs and graduate students; register as an affiliate member using your ucsc.edu email address to access member benefits. Text instructions are listed below the following image.

Step 1: Go to nationalpostdoc.org; Click on "Join" in upper right corner

Step 2: Select your member type: Affiliate Graduate Student, Affiliate Postdoc, or Affiliate Nonpostdoc/Other

Step 3: Enter your institutional email address as your User Name, and your First and Last name

Step 4: Enter the required information and any additional info for your profile

Step 5: Click "Submit" to have the NPA review your memebership within 10 days; you will receive an email when you've been approved
